The "Book of Lists" was released in 1977. Aptly named, it contained nothing but lists. Odd things like: Worst Song Titles of All Time, Which Dog Breeds Bite the Most (and the least), World's Greatest Libel Suits, Worst Places to Hitchhike, and People Suspected of Being Jack the Ripper. To my young OCD brain it was addictive.
Since then, I have always loved reading and making lists. For better or worse, here are my favorites. You'll notice I said "favorites" and not "best", as these are all very personal. And, while I fully recognize "Citizen Kane" is better than "The Karate Kid", I would be lying if I said I liked it more.
Lastly, it was hard enough selecting my top ten for each list, so none of them are ranked, they are all in alphabetical order.
